Polestar Australia has cut $4600 from the price of both versions of the updated Polestar 4 Coupe, aligning it with the more practical new Polestar 4 SUV.
Effective from September 2, 2026, the MY27 Polestar 4 Coupe Rear motor is now priced from $73,900 plus on-road costs, down from $78,500.
The Coupe Dual motor has also dropped by $4600, falling from $86,350 to $81,750 before on-road costs.

Those prices exactly match the equivalent Polestar 4 SUV variants, removing the price advantage previously held by the more upright newcomer.
It means buyers can now choose between the lower, sleeker Coupe and the more practical SUV without price influencing the decision.
The Coupe retains its controversial windowless tail and camera-based digital rear-view mirror, while the SUV has a conventional rear windscreen, more upright roofline, improved rear-seat headroom and a larger luggage compartment.
The Polestar 4 Coupe Dual motor with the Plus and Performance packs is now priced from $95,450 plus on-road costs.
That is also identical to the equivalent Polestar 4 SUV and represents a $4600 reduction compared with the previous Coupe pricing once the two compulsory option packs are included.
There are no further technical changes accompanying the latest price adjustment.
The MY27 Polestar 4 Coupe had already received a substantial chassis overhaul, including higher-capacity passive dampers, revised springs and anti-roll bars, polyurethane rebound stops and recalibrated steering.
Polestar says the changes improve ride comfort, body control, agility and steering precision.
The updated range is divided into Rear motor, Dual motor and Dual motor with Performance pack variants.
The $7200 Performance pack remains restricted to the Dual motor and requires the $6500 Plus pack to be fitted first.
It adds 22-inch wheels, Polestar Engineered chassis tuning, Brembo brakes and the Swedish gold details traditionally used to identify the brand’s highest-performance models.
Other options include a $1200 Comfort pack, $900 22kW AC onboard charger, $2200 electrochromic glass roof, $700 rear privacy glass and $4070 electrically retractable towbar.
The Nappa leather upgrade costs $5700 with Charcoal trim or $6100 with Zinc and also requires the Plus pack.
Both body styles are based on Geely’s SEA architecture and use a 100kWh battery.
In the Polestar 4 SUV, the Rear motor produces 200kW and 343Nm, with a claimed WLTP range of up to 630km. The 400kW/686Nm Dual motor can accelerate from 0-100km/h in 3.9 seconds and travel up to 600km.
Polestar has not announced any corresponding changes to the Coupe’s power, performance or driving range as part of the price realignment.
Vehicle-to-load functionality and a new Camping mode are due to become available across the entire Polestar 4 range through a future software update.
