May 23, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — As the Battery Show Europe 2025 in Germany approaches, Highstar will showcase its latest generation of Tabless battery technology. The launch event, themed “Tabless Forest • Vitality Reborn,” will highlight breakthroughs in battery innovation and energy efficiency. The new generation of Tabless batteries offers significant improvements in power output, ultra-fast charging, extreme environmental performance, and extended service life, enabling a wide range of application scenarios, including electric garden tools, smart home appliances, drones, and robotics, providing robust and sustainable energy.
Groundbreaking performance, instant energy boost
Full Power with Peak Discharge Rate :
The new battery supports pulse discharge up to 40C (200A) and offers 3× higher continuous discharge current. This meets the needs of tools such as electric drills and chainsaws that require high intensity and instant power.
Ultra-low internal resistance, efficiency revolution :
By redesigning the tab structure and optimizing materials, the new tabless battery’s internal resistance has been reduced to below 4 mΩ—a reduction of more than 70%. This results in a 50% lower temperature rise at the same discharge rate and enables full-capacity discharge between 10°C and 30°C. It ensures seamless, highly efficient operation for devices such as e-VTOLs, industrial robots, and AGVs.
Super-fast charging, extended battery life :
With the 5C fast charging function, the battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 10 minutes. The battery life is more than 1,000 cycles, an increase of 60% to 100%, providing long-lasting performance for high-frequency devices such as robot vacuum cleaners.
Global production and supply. Highstar’s Malaysia -based Tableless battery factory will enter mass production this year to improve global supply. Equipped with intelligent production lines, the facility ensures product consistency and reliability and strengthens supply chains for international partners. The portfolio includes seven models of the 18650 and 21700 Tableless series, offering full capacity for a wide range of applications.
