The numbers alone make the case: 207 kW (281 hp), 345 Nm of torque and a 0–100 km/h sprint of 5.5 seconds, making it the fastest‑accelerating production Opel ever. Power comes from a 54 kWh lithium‑ion battery (51 kWh usable), supported by upgraded thermal management to sustain repeated high‑load driving. Three drive modes – Sport, Normal and Eco – allow the driver to tailor performance, with Sport unlocking the full racetrack‑calibrated output.
A Torsen multi‑plate limited‑slip differential, lowered sports chassis, bespoke axles and stabilisers, hydraulic dampers and GSE‑specific steering tuning give the Corsa GSE the handling precision expected from a true hot hatch. Four‑piston Alcon brakes stand ready to rein in the speed when needed.
Visually, the Corsa GSE leaves no doubt about its intentions. A sharper GSE‑specific front apron, black lower body trim, wide arches and a contrasting black roof set the tone. The stance is completed by 18‑inch three‑spoke wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres, with bold GSE‑branded Alcon calipers peeking through. The rear spoiler and black detailing reinforce the athletic silhouette.
Inside, Opel blends nostalgia with modern performance cues. Deeply bolstered Alcantara performance seats with integrated headrests feature a black‑grey‑yellow chequered pattern that nods to classic Corsa hot hatches. Yellow seatbelts, Alcantara‑trimmed steering wheel and door inserts, silver‑grey GSE‑branded dashboard accents and aluminium pedals complete the cockpit. A digital driver display and 10‑inch central touchscreen present GSE‑specific performance data, including G‑forces, acceleration metrics and battery information.
Despite its performance focus, the Corsa GSE remains practical. Heated seats and steering wheel, a 180‑degree reversing camera, keyless entry and start, and a bidirectional onboard charger (V2L) make it suitable for daily use – whether powering an e‑bike or an electric grill directly from the car’s battery.
