The global debut of the smart Concept #2 served as the event’s creative centerpiece. Styled exclusively by the Mercedes‑Benz Global Design Team, the Concept #2 reimagines the urban two‑seater through the brand’s “Love, Pure, Unexpected” design philosophy. Its compact, distilled silhouette embraces a “Function becomes Fashion” approach, transforming the city car into a canvas for individuality. Built on smart’s new Electric Compact Architecture, the concept targets a range of nearly 300 kilometers and supports DC fast charging from 10% to 80% in under 20 minutes. Vehicle‑to‑Load capability adds further utility for modern urban lifestyles. Despite its 2.79‑meter length, the Concept #2 maximizes interior space through smart’s signature wheels‑at‑the‑corners layout and offers exceptional maneuverability with a 6.95‑meter turning diameter. The production version – positioned as the new fortwo – will make its world premiere at the Paris Motor Show in October 2026.
The world premiere of the smart #6 EHD marked the brand’s first entry into the premium fastback sedan segment. Designed by Mercedes‑Benz and engineered in China, the #6 EHD pairs a sleek, shark‑inspired aerodynamic profile with executive‑level interior space. Powered by an advanced Electric Hybrid Drive system, the sedan delivers an impressive 1,810‑kilometer CLTC range with fuel consumption as low as 3.9 liters per 100 kilometers. “With the Concept #2 presenting our new vision for the urban two‑seater, we have the will to be Unconventional.
