President Bola Ahmed Tinubu congratulates Barrister Ismaeel Ahmed, OON, on his birthday, highlighting his contributions to public service, youth mobilisation and good governance.
The President commends Ahmed, the Executive Chairman of the Presidential Initiative on Compressed Natural Gas and Electric Vehicles (PiCNG & EV), for his commitment to driving one of the administration’s most ambitious programmes.
The PiCNG & EV initiative aims to provide affordable, sustainable energy for transportation across Nigeria.
President Tinubu describes Barr. Ahmed as a dedicated emerging leader who has remained steadfast in strengthening the progressive movement since the formative years of the All Progressives Congress.
The President notes that Ahmed played an active role in the evolution of the progressive political front through the formation of the All Progressives Youth Forum and by serving as the APC National Youth Leader, during which he helped mobilise young Nigerians into the APC.
Highlighting Barr. Ahmed’s service in government, President Tinubu notes his efforts as Senior Special Assistant to former President Muhammadu Buhari on Social Investments and later as Secretary of the Policy and Strategy Directorate of the Tinubu/Shettima Campaign in the run-up to the 2023 presidential election.
President Tinubu wishes Barr. Ahmed good health, renewed strength and wisdom as he grows in age and impact.
