ChargePoint, a provider of EV charging solutions, has launched the CPF50 – a new, low-cost charging solution designed to enable more fleets to go electric. Priced at $699 (€643 / £535), the Level 2 charger aims to lower the barrier to entry for fleet electrification, while facilitating access to ChargePoint’s fleet and telematics software platforms.

Designed with a focus on flexibility and affordability, the CPF50 enables fleet operators looking to electrify their fleets to procure and install charging in a cost-effective manner, while maximizing the benefits of going electric. With the CPF50, operators can bundle ChargePoint’s fleet management software to optimize their total cost of ownership.

While offering real time-visibility of vehicle readiness, power usage and station status, the software also provides energy management tools to maximize fuel savings and control station access, while also allowing fleet operators to simplify complexity and station management. At the same time, multiple CPF50s can be managed through the platform (enabling power sharing through the cloud to reduce charging costs and optimize battery health) and can be configured with either J1772 or NACS connectors.
