A Tesla Supercharger opened February 21 at the Royal Farms Store located at 2692 Tobin Xing in Bel Air, Maryland.
This Supercharger site has 12 “V4” charging stalls with V3 charging cabinets that are capable of delivering up to 325 kW. The Supercharger is on the north west side of the Royal Farms parking lot and has permeable pavement to reduce rainwater runoff.
It is open to non-Tesla vehicles that have a NACS port or bring their own adapter. However, the integrated CCS adapters in the V4 stalls don’t seem to be available yet. This functionality may be switched on in the future.
We’re keeping an eye on other upcoming Tesla Superchargers in the greater Washington, DC area, including 13600 Baltimore Ave in Laurel, which is currently under construction. Stay tuned for updates.
